Default Dealer experience in Southern California?

I'm interested in feedback regarding the various dealers in and around L.A. I'm not ecstatic about my current dealer, and I'm thinking about upgrading to the W12 6.0 not long after launch. If there's a dealer folks have had consistently good experience with, I'm interested in hearing about it. The $700 for the XM install just puts me over the edge with my dealer, even though my particular service writer seems to be an upstanding type.
They did just get a new service manager, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned, so improvements may be in the works.
Any feedback? Anyone know about the new owners of the Santa Monica (Was Steve Taub, and I was told I needed an appointment to test drive the A8L !?!?) and Riverside stores?
Thanks

I've been happy with Rusnak in Pasadena (near the corner of Orange Grove and Colorado, next to the Norton Simon Museum) for service on my previous A6's and now on my new A8L.

From what I've seen, all the serice advisors are helpful, but mostly I've been dealing with service advisor Johnny Borja .

Default Re: Rusnak

Thanks. I considered Rusnak a contender when I leased my current A8L because they have a Bentley store and I had a suspicion I'd be moving into a Bentley GT as a next move. But I spent over 3-1/2 hours there one day as we drove around checking their A8L inventory - they said they couldn't do it by computer. Also they wouldn't deal at all on price last year on the Audi, which was odd because the cars weren't moving. (They also had an S8 - '02, I believe - there at the time, which was an interesting option.)
It's good to hear their service is good. I'll keep them on the list when I start shopping. Thanks for the name of the service guy!

Default Very happy with Keyes in Van Nuys. Sales and service experience was GREAT. (I have an A4)

If you want specifics or names, I'll share that too.

Default Thanks. I bought my A6 4.2 from them.

It was not a good experience, but I'm glad yours has been.

Default Beverly Hills Audi

I've dealt with the sales guys there and service my S8 there. Love them. I've been over to Keyes and felt that they were fairly sleazy. My buddy got his Porsche from Taub and services it there and loves them.

The Audi club guys seem to really like Pacific but that's down in Torrance/Gardena.

Default Thanks. BH is where I'm dealing now. Taub is the one who told me I needed an appointment

to test drive the A8L, but they're now under new ownership (I was tempted to look into acquiring the franchise) so I wonder how they are now. There's a new franchise out in Riverside as well.

Default interesting...

That dealer needed some sprucing up. I hope the new ownership was a good move. I think the West L.A. area is a gold mine waiting to be tapped into. There is a lot of wealth in Brentwood, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood Hills. West Hollywood folk has a big attraction for VW/Audi products too. It's a good business opportunity for whoever can advertise to the right people and capitalize on the potential.
