This is great for putting on summer/winter wheels but for year-round driving, I would have new TPMS sensors installed. I am running on aftermarket replacement ones that cost around $140 for the set, had Discount Tire install them for me. This was going on 5 years ago, they are still working perfectly. The TPMS has notified me many times of low tires that I would have otherwise never known or seen. Definitely worth it.

No it includes 4. You don't need to buy one for the spare as it won't give you an error in the MMI screen, only will show "--" for the spare. That is a unnecessary one to buy. You don't need VCDS to reprogram them. You just click "change wheels" in MMI and it will learn the new sensors over 15-20 minutes. 433mhz in U.S. btw.
Im in need for 4 replacement TPMS for my S8, on there website there's 3 sets of TPMS, these are the cheapest aftermarket at $153.50 ....... https://www.oewheelsllc.com/IM-3106-...nsors-for-Audi

Has anyone tried them and is it worth going for aftermarket than OEM's? Thanks.

Thanks.

Which is better to go with the Metal or the Rubber stems? There's no replacement parts at the tire shops to change out the metal tube stem if there's a leak, won't it be best to just to stick with the rubber stems? Anyone please feel free to chime in with suggestions, I'm un-decided , thanks.

I only have one on my spare as it never had one and I wanted to monitor it. It's been on there since I switched back from winters to summers last spring, so coming up on a year in April.

The metal stems are good. I’ve not had issues with mine with metal stems, and I’ve also now got a car with rubber stems, also no issues there. Comes down to preference really.

Thank you for your input, did you also go with ORO-TEK brand?

Is it possible to disable to TPMS with OBDeleven? I can't get past the the TPMS loading data screen. It just hangs at this step.
