Drain Fuel from Audi S8 D3
Hi All,
My car has been in the garage for 2 years now, I'm planning to drive it again soon. Before I do that I want to service the car by replacing the filters and the oil. Another thing I should do first before I service it, is draining the fuel that has been in the tank for two years now.
I understood that fuel looses its quality over time, and that a 2 year period should be worth considering draining. I'm not taking any chances and I don't want the old fuel to pollute/destroy my engine. Here comes my question.
What is the best way to drain that old fuel?!
I've already tried putting down a hose through the fuel filler hole, and using an external pump to drain the fuel. But so far, zero result.
What is the approved Audi way to do this? Do any of you know?
