I guess my approach is wrong. Perhaps, if I asked questions about lowering the car, tinting windows, adding a rear spoiler, a fart can exhaust and maybe some purple under carraige lights, I'm sure to get lots of advice.

Cannot tell you what the additive is. Try a change to Castrol 0w40 European blend. Engines seem to run quieter with this oil.
This MAY fix this small issue.

FWIW, I changed oil with the grade that's on sale, 0-30w, 5-30w, 0-40w, 5-40w, etc, sometimes I even mixed with some left over with the new different grade. Yeah, mobil 1 always, walmart, amazon, etc... The oil doesn't kill the engine, makes noise, sometime people seem to be desperate and start to guess. My car never has noise, problems, the only thing I make sure that's always full and the amazing thing is @129k miles, it still doesn't drink any.
