If that doesn't fix it, HPFPs and cam followers did for me.
Thanks...
I wil go through that process in the morning and see what I come up with.

As indicated before, I doubt it. One HPFP on each head. Thus unless an oblong meteor strikes your Audi just right in the hood, really unlikely both go or start getting flaky at once. As in, you do not have codes showing only one side of the motor (aka a bank) is lean, experiencing misfires or with other side specific issues that I might expect for one of the HPFP's. But...both are fed from the tank pumps...

I ran through that procedure and found that I am just outside of the criteria for 106~ 56%. I also ran another scan and this is what I came up with...

Being on the edge of low pressure would explain why the problem shows up intermittently and would be consistent with worn (not broken) HPFPS and/or cam followers. The cam followers are relative cheap and very easy to change, so I would consider doing them before the HPFPs.

Amazon only has one follower in stock which i ordered. I will order another when they get more in stock. I will put the one in the side that has the misfires. I am also going to chainge the fuel filter. We will see what things look like after that....

Here's the proc to remove the HPFPs to get at the cam followers. FYI, before removing, disconnect both HPFPs electrical connectors and run the car at idle for ten seconds to depressurize the rails.

So apparently after changing the fuel filter AND clearing the codes all is well. I didn't even get a chance to change the cam followers yet. I am just happy it is all good now. Based on what I believed to be the date code that was the original filter with 183k on it. It was past time...
