I'm having a hard locating a front bumper cover for my 2007 A8L Quattro. I'm wondering if the later models' (2008ish - 2010) bumper will fit? The only main difference I can see are the fog lights (round vs. trapezoid).

Yes, they have the same mounting bolts. You are also correct about the fog lights, meaning with a 2008 or newer front bumper, you would also have to get new fog lights and the grill for the fog light. The bumpers from the 2006/2007 vs the 2008-2010 have different mounts for the fog lights. Overall, yes the bumpers are compatible (some people have put the 2008 style A8 and S8 bumpers on their older D3's without any fabrication as far as I'm aware. There are 3 bolts on each side that hold the bumper on, you will have to take out the fender lining to access them. The bumper is held on with six 13mm nuts. There are a couple of videos/write-ups on how to remove the bumper. Good luck!

Or better yet, use a S8 front bumper cover like I did. You will have to get fog lights and covers as well.

Hi TSHong would you mind showing us a picture of the end result. Had a look in your photo album but only found a W12 front bumper.. Or is that the S8 bumper with a W12 batch. Point is I can't see the difference between my 2007 D3 S8 bumper and your W12 bumper picture. Maybe I am bad in spotting the small differences ;-)

S8 front cover with facelift square fogs.

I use a W12 grill on the S8 front cover. The 07 round fogs and covers are different from an A8. The facelift square fogs are the same but only the covers are different. Also any grill, A8, S8, and W12 can be used on either the A8 or S8 front cover.

do you know any body shops owners in your area? If so, they can order the parts at a huge discount compared to what you will pay. I just had a new bumper installed and the owner said he can order any OEM part at a big discount. Worth a phone call or two.
