Default Front marker lens options

I don't suppose you can get these with clear white lenses? Maybe I should try to 'smoke' them? I could get the Euro trim and omit the markers, but they are my parking lights correct?

Any reason these wouldn't work on a 2010?

I ans another forum member bought a set and found out that the Chinese did not copy them accurately...they can not be installed on a D3. And as to solutions for the marker, I just had mine painted yesterday; the same solution I used on my last A8. W-A-A-A-Y easier than removing those trim pieces and replacing with Euro spec part, and way less expensive when you realize that the Euro spec part has to be real-deal Audi (not Chinese knock off) and come from Germany. Yes, there is a seam, but the overall effect is the same...the look of the front end isnt broken up by the glaring orange lenses.

There is the problem of matching the paint though...the paint code for our cars is for the body paint, and the bumpers are not an exact match, but there is not a paint code for them. So a perfect match must be done by trial and error adjustment to the code. Eventually I will have some one mix a perfect match, but for now they're painted body color.

That looks good nut!

I thought about painting them. It would have been nice if they had clear lenses but that was optimistic. I'll try gloss white vinyl wrap first and see how close it matches.

Can I just disconnect the plug or remove the bulb without it throwing a code?

I cut the wires and shrink wrapped them. There will not be a bulb out warning.

And I should caution you that those trim pieces are very tricky to remove without doing damage to your bumper and paint. Actually I found it difficult to do, and I do a lot with trim pieces interior/exterior. And in my case when I found out the Chinese part did not fit properly I just put the original piece back on again.
