I know this isn't the classifieds, but does anyone have a drivers side sidemarker light laying around they'd be willing to sell? Part number is 4e0945071. Some upstanding citizen backed into me yesterday and cracked mine (light itself still works at least). Of course left no information. I looked on eBay, but the only ones are ridiculously priced.

Been down this road myself. In the end just sucked up the $80 a replacement costs and moved on.

The junkyard closest to me actually has an '04 and '05 A8 there. Fingers crossed that one of them has the sidemarker. The dealership I use on occasion said they can order one for the bargain price of $67.
