Default Got a glimpse of how my car would look with the Kimbo lowering mod ;-)

When I finally got home last night after my trip and went out to the garage, I noticed that Moontan looked a little different. I couldn't quite put my finger on it at first. So I went out and picked up my mail. Returning to the garage, I noticed that the driver's front corner was lower than the pasenger side. Hmmm, even though I'd left the car in dynamic mode, one corner had settled all the way down. I could still slip my hand between the tire and fender, there sure wasn't a gap.

So I got in and started Moontan up (100% battery after 1.5 months woo-hoo!), selected lift mode, and felt it raise up. I then put it back to automatic, it settled back to where it should.

This morning I put it back to dynamic, no problems. What a dream it is to drive my A8 again. Nice to feel the power, the handling, and be back in my seat again.

The only bad thing that has occured: the Texas state insurance ********* have determined that the A8's require a $200/yr increase. It's nothing that I've done, the state changed some classification on our cars. Oh well :-(

Default The back of mine seems to "settle" after a month of sitting still but once

the engine starts, she settles back in. Sorry to hear about the insurance. Were your rates "reasonable" before the change?
