Default HELP! Rear passenger side leak

Raining all day today, car parked at slight incline. Pull out of the driveway and pull away...as car levels off, I hear a rush of water in the roof and then see water leaking out of the right-rear near the C-pillar and towards the grab handle. Water drips out enough to be hitting the seat.

Where do I start? I've seen threads on the A-pillar leak but what could be causing this? Is there a gasket that runs along the roof rail that could be the culprit? Since the water came out when I leveled off, could it be pooling at the rear near the rear glass?

Need some direction...please.

Thanks in advance.

Default Likely clogged sunroof drains...

Never had it myself with C5 or D3 (more modern ones), but search. Lots of posts on it here over the years.

+1 on the drains. They are in four corners.

Water is drained to wheel wells. To access outlets you have to remove liners. Vacuuming from there won't disconnect anything.

Nice diagram!
I've had those issues with older vw's. Sometimes leaf or those little helicopters get in and clog at the top most part or insects can nest at the bottom most parts. Compressed air or snake in a length of 4-wire telephone wire should help clear the tube.

No sliding sunroof is leak proof. That is why drain tubes are installed. The OP has at least one clogged.
