I'm going to sell a used one with cradle. I used it with a motorola v3i. it makes the system handsfree
and you can use the phone button to anwser calls.
It mutes the radio but does not interface with the mmi.call 860- 306 7651 for more info.

I am confused as usual...lol...will either of these two things mentioned make my current blue tooth phone (moto razer) work in my old school 04 A8? that currently has the v60 cradle yet i have lost the freakin phone...

you place this unit into the phone cradle and your razr will work.

I messaged the ebay seller and they indicated that the phone is not required
 

and you will get the full functionality as if you had the V60 phone. It does not however interface through the MMI.

This unit is severly limited in function. If you are interested in real factory Bluetooth, I am doing OnStar-&gt;Bluetooth conversions. I installed one in IDRPEA's A8 last month. It's the real fully integrated factory version complete integration in MMI and MFSW controls. email at bencover@cox.net
