Default Here's my noisy bushings

I recorded this a little while ago with my phone laying on my right thigh. I was in a parking lot and slowly went over a speed bump. The squeak at the 3 second mark is my shoe on the rubber brake pedal pad. The crunch at the 6 second mark is the suspension.

I haven't had the gumption to crawl under the car with these near freezing temps. The car has 74,000 miles and bushings are cheap. Maybe I should just replace all of them and have the car aligned when done.

If the noise is the same as mine in one of the troubleshooting videos, then stabilizer bar c clamp may be shot, then the upper control arms... mine is noise free now.

Most likely the bushings for the upper control arms. It is very common for these to need repairment on these cars. Follow lootz' video on how to replace, but since you're in a cold weather climate (like I am) removing those pinch bolts on the knuckle is a pain! I did them in both of my A8s...had to use heat on both of my cars along with impact tools. You probably won't hear it once the weather gets warmer, but I'd replace them.

I figured it was the uppers. I'll wait to order parts until I can check the rest of them. And yeah it needs to get warmer first! It's just a noise right now so it can wait. What's the best brand for these bushings and/or possibly new control arms?

Replacing the bushings and sway bar links is cheap and will help the ride, control, and eliminate noise.
Use OEM, they are the same price as the others. Four links and four UCA bushings will be less than 250.00.

But the oem bushings squeak! Isn't there something better out there?
