when ou just say "don't do it" the forum needs to know why imo.

$4 versus $2000 is an amount even the budgetless need to have an answer for
He's joking that means he's being sarcastic. As said before in your post about how to post pictures. Click the box with a smiley face and it will give you a list of smilies and what they mean.

Look I know it sound crude but its so easy to cut hook. Haven't done any repairs yet; still has duct tape sticky on hood; note string I added on latches in case it happens again. Got 12" metal sawall blade; with one latch released able to use wood blocks to hold hood up enough to get blade in and cut latch hook. Duct tape protected the hood.
only slight nick on edge.

Definitely less than $2k worth of collateral damage there. I wonder where our angry lawyer hiring money burning friend has gone?

Not a diss, just an observation. From those pics the front valance is smashed, the ride height is all messed up and the wheel center caps are missing. Are you planning on fixing it?

U hit the nail on head.

1 the bumper is about $4000 installed if u can find it here
2 the wheel caps I have but they keep popping off

3 the ride height. This is the one I tackle next. Level sensor to be replaced in rear. About $200. Then I know I have a small leak up front, so debating the conversion to coil over or replace the front air one at a time

This car cannot be criticized imo. It has been a tank since June 2003. It is better and runs better than 70% of cars on the road today
I have to just pick my spots for maintenance d,Lola's.

I might not have it in top shape, but if I could, I would. One fix at a time.
Peace.
