I've had a flashing icon and harsh warning sound for over a year now and its finally time to find a replacement headlight.
When searching on this forum, there seems to be 2 different kinds of headlights. One with adaptive functions and one without.

How do i determine from viewing the pics on ebay which has Adaptive?

You need to get your part number from your car. Most ebay sellers list the number or some may even help you if you give them your vin number or car reg they will tell you if it will fit.

Why change the headlight when there is a fault.
Better find out what the problem is using vcds.

The adaptive headlamps are best identified by part number or VCDS scan.
