Wondering what others are paying to insure their A8s. I just got an online quote from Travelers.com for $615 for a 6 month policy that covers 2 cars, my 2006 A8L W12 and my wife's 2006 Porsche Cayenne S.

The W12 was $324 of the total (so it would be $648 for the year). Both vehicles have 250k/500k Bodily Injuery and Collision Coverage with $1500 Deductibles, Full Glass coverage. I live in CT.

This is my 5th A8, Travelers always seemed to be the cheapest.

Has any one else found any good companies?

I put Audi A8 as only pleasure driving; with a thousand deductibles,under 9k miles per year, the charge is $667.50 for 6 months from State Farm and 762.00 in AIG here in New Jersy.

...My insurance company (Erie) chalked it up to the aluminum frame/body and associated costs to repair.

With "AIG" as the third vehicle on the policy, 100/300 limits & $1000.00 deductible, $506 for six months.
