IPhone5 will not pair with my '07 A8L
Upgraded to iPhone 5 and can't for the life of me get it to pair with my car. Had the iPhone 4 previously and it paired right up without a problem. Someone stole my owner's manual and I'm stuck. Has anyone noted a problem with this?
Many thanks....

When you get in the car turn on your Bluetooth on your iPhone. It should say Searchable. Start the engine. You should get Audi something on the phone. Hit Pair and punch in the code. Default is 1234 but it might be changed.

You are probably doing something wrong, I paired my iPhone5 to the A8 without a problem, and it works flawlessly. As stated above, find the A8 bt on your phone and pair to it. GL

Delete previously paired devices in the car using telephone then setup. On your iPhone go to settings, general, reset, network settings. This should guaranteed fix your problem

Not to partially hijack the thread, but my '08 A8 does not read all phone numbers from my iPhone 5 - specifically referring to my Phonebook setting. Any suggestions? Is it car or phone?
Thanks in advance.

There is already a known problem between iPhone and A8 Bluetooth. Cannot copy the phone list. It only shows the number when incoming calls even that number is saved on iPhone.

Seems the stored information and recognition by the B/T in the A8 is selective in its disclosure. Some of the incoming / outgoing numbers also show the name of the stored party, but others do not...

Thanks so much everyone. My steed is being re-shoed today but I am sure I have all the needed info here now! Have an excellent weekend and keep the shiny side up.

Closing the loop here. I'm good to go. I believe the problem was solved by Brozee's suggestion to reset the network connections in the iPhone 5. After that...bingo. Thanks.
