How to install a phone in 2007 S8, it will not pair. Do I have bluetooth?

Delete all prior phones as stated.

90% plus of time and still no luck w/ basic efforts assume it's either:

not following directions--see MMI manual. Old fashioned paper. Please don't ask for copies, how to, on line non-existent version, etc. Every car should have one, plus main owners manual. Buy if needed.

or, a faulty phone. Test for faulty phone against other known good phone that can currently pair to another vehicle.
