So, air suspension is leaking....really bad. Like not just a slight leak. I put the car in jack mode, then I lift the front the front left side, it’s probably pretty close to the release air valve on an air compressor amount of air that starts gushing out somewhere. Car is constantly lifting and leaking air and I’m afraid the compressor is going to get fried. Scanned the car, and it says no leaks. Only codes are 01577 and 01400. I just need some pretty good damn help to get this fixed or else I’m going have to part ways with it. Absolutely can’t take it to a dealership because I simply can’t afford that.

If you can't fix it yourself, taking it to a mechanic maybe your best choice...or would you prefer a 4000lbs paperweight.

Step 1 - you'll need to determine exactly where the leak is coming from
Step 2 - can you patch it or beyond such repair and a new airmatic / air suspension unit is required
Step 3 - if a new unit is required, check ebay, junk yards, CL

I think I’m more than able to do it myself, I’m just having trouble finding where it is coming from knowing that by the time I jack it up, all the air leaks out and I can’t spray any water on it

Good idea to get the vehicle on some ramps and have someone underneath to see first hand.

Maybe post where you are located. Another owner may be willing to give you a hand, or offer to buy the car from you... I am always looking for project cars in the denver, CO area.... Looked at an 04 a8l yesterday, but passed.

If the front is dropping, then jack up the front end with a floor jack placed in the center, remove both front tires and lower the vehicle onto two jack stands placed under each left and right area where the lower control arms meet at the rotor/hub area, then put the suspension in lift mode to find your leak.
