It's been a long time...
Well, today i picked up my A8L after getting the satellite tuner installed (Sirius). So far, so good. Lots of stations and even more fun added to an already great car. The clock is a very welcome add-on as well. I love this car!
So how's everyone else doing?

Dropped mine off today for:
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/5041/baboons.jpg"></center><p>-15,000 mi maintenance
-Wiper Blades
-Sirius Installation
Which was all scheduled two weeks ago. I get a call from service later saying:
- They don't have the pollen filter in stock
- They don't have the wiper blades in stock
- They don't have some of the Sirius parts in stock
So sorry...you'll have to come and get the car and return it when we get the parts.
Needless to say, I called the dealer GM and complained since this seems to be de rigeur with this dealer. Now the parts are supposedly on overnight order and the car should be done tomorrow.
If things go as expected, I'll get a call tomorrow afternoon explaining that they had some difficulty with the MMI/NAV/Sirius upgrade. They'll explain to me that they never did this service on a A8L before so it's taking longer and they need the car until next Tuesday. I now picture them as howling baboons frantically circling the car with sticks trying to beat the upgrade into submission.
Oh yeah, they offered to replace my Jetta loaner with an Audi loaner. Nice.
