Just replaced Brake Switch and now have ESP, ABS and Parking Brake lights coming on
It seems I had a faulty brake switch which I replaced but now I have a solid ESP and ABS light on and every so often the Parking Brake light will go on. Does anyone have experience with this issue? I've been told I might need to recode my ABS Module or get a new one if it's broken and that would resolve my issues but I really would like some input if somebody ran across this problem before. Thanks in advance for your help.

Number 1 would be good to see a VCDS readout of the codes you are getting, guess work without that. 2, I don't believe in coincidence, changed the brake light switch and now there are ABS errors (unknown ones), ESP and Parking Brake errors (all unknown ones). Did you follow the manual instructions for installing the brake light switch to the letter, there is a relatively precise way to put it in without messing up the new switch. Never hear of an ABS module needing to be re-coded after proper replacement of a brake light switch. Post up the VCDS errors (not generic) when you can and you will have better luck in getting steered in the right direction.
