Today, when I tried to open the door, the auto open function didn't respond.
Tried every four doors and there seem to be a problem. Car only opens by remote button.
I guess I need to take this to dealer but just wanted to know if anyone knows why this happend.

BTW, I've replaced my key battery 2 weeks ago from the dealer and got it adapted to vehicle.

...have you tried the other full-function key that came with the car?

Bottom line is you will probabaly still have to go to the dealer, but the more info you have, the better.

Funny, sometimes it works, sometimes just the trunk unlock button works and not the doors. Sometimes everything works but if I use to key fob switch to lock it, then the keyless stops working for awhile. We think it may be a battery issue (not the key battery, but the car battery). - 2004 Phaeton with keyless access.

..BTW, my friend with the '05 Phaeton is eyeing the S550. He has his CLS55 at his Florida house, and his wife's '04 A8L is being replaced momentarily with an E550 (sports..whatever that means).
