RIP
I didn’t know him other than from interactions on here, but this is sad news to be hearing. Mishar was a very knowledgeable and valuable contributor here for many years. As a fellow mechanical engineer he and I often had healthy debates over various technical subjects; the last I remember being over which was better, Torsen quattro or 4-matic which was a good one.
He seemed to fall hard for the 3 pointed star in the twilight of his life, but was an Audi guy at heart. I’m sure that’s what he’s driving now, wherever he’s ended up.
Godspeed old boy....

His metal gear set lives on in my D3 W12 MMI screen mechanism. He pioneered those as I recall, along with the instructions I used. https://www.audiworld.com/mmi-screen...-instructions/

R.I.P., Misha! I don't know what to say without repeating all the nice things others have already posted.
I always felt a bit sorry for the newbies who made the mistake of challenging Misha's unerring knowledge.
Also, his construction of those wooden car ramps (and the supporting data he posted) was legendary.
He used talk-to-text, and that revealed his French accent, I always got a kick out of that!
And despite his resemblance to The Most Interesting Guy in the World, he was definitely one of the most interesting guys on AW!
I wish there was a way to send condolences and a link to this thread to his loved ones...
Thanks to Jack88 for posting the news.
