Has anyone had their silver finish car detailed and have the results been dramatic or at least very impressive? I've seen darker finish cars transformed, but I'm not sure I'll get the same return on my investment.

Silver and white can be tough when it comes to making them look exceptional. I think 90% of it comes from progressively polishing the paint to a mirror-like finish. I would then seal everything up with a product called Jeff's Werkstatt which is a modernized version of Klasse. Durability was quite good, probably 6 - 8 months on a daily driver:
