And when I got back from my four-day trip, the battery was discharged and I started using a jump starter and the battery is now working normally. The problem is, the odometer display is not working and, as I said, Hughes is all normal.

Hello Albert,
Are these picture from after the cleaning, your board has corrosion (green/bluish) at solder points, you can either clean it lightly wire brushing it and then hot air re-solder flux the areas, if you do not have those tools or are not comfortable doing said job, you can get the board off of ebay.

I replaced the link for ebay as your board has the 2004-06 style layout of the micro switches, you did state that you have a 2007, was that a typo?

2004-06 board VS. 2007-09

I have identified the year of manufacture by looking at the vehicle's vehicle license number and confirmed it was manufactured in 2006.

And since this car was registered in 2007, I knew it as a 2007 model.

Maybe somebody replaced the mmi control unit with the wrong one previously and it did not work so they gave up?

He has a 2006 A8, NOT a 2007 as stated, so the board in his vehicle is the correct item, it needs repair or replacement.

Good day Giovanni,

I bought and installed a used mmi control panel ( I already check part-number is same) but still have no power.
Can you tell me another way?

Hello Albert,
For the $130.00 I would have purchased the new panel instead of used, how do we know if the used unit had failed prior to removal.
Next, we will need a scan to show if control head #07 is reachable or not as shown in attached picture, you must do the optical bus diagnostic test.
