My driver's seat hurts
The driver's seat on my 2004 A8L has a wire which goes around the inner portion of the seat. The wire has now folded over so that I have to sit on a very uncomfortable wire. I have an appointment with the dealer. Has anyone else experience this problem? I also noticed that the pictures on Audi's site have two different kinds of seats. Help, my butt hurts.

Oh, I see this is your 1st post. Mebby you don't know about the therapeutic benefits of cheeze. Hang around... It worked great with delivery nervosis, MMI anticptitous, Phone jaundicosia and other symptoms. Great medicine. Good luck with the problem. It's a first.

I bought a seat pad from a local car shop, but driving in a $75K car with a $20 seat pad does not reflect well on Audi. If I put a meter in the car and sign on top, I could be driving a NYC cab.
I noticed that there may be two types of seats from the Audi website. Go to the A8 pages and look at the interior; there is a seat with the metal wiring and one without. Does everyone else have the metal wiring?

Just tell the dealer to replace the seat....it has to be covered..
under warranty/MA plans as a totally free replacement. Get AoA involved if no satisfaction from dealer. Have him call his regional rep too.
