My navigation is lost "literally"
My navigation seems to have amind of it's own. The display is showing at-least 30 to 40 miles off from real location. I done a vag scan and would like some help pin pointing the problem.Tuesday,27,August,2013,11:04:00:04768

Water ingress causes rust as seen on C6 and D3.
Check the Nav for signal levels via MMI and VCDS.
There is also an antenna test you can run - will have to search archives for it.

Go to the back and make sure the DVD is on the level (horizontal and not vertical).
Sirius is also in the back, make sure all Optical cables are intact and the Fakra (antenna) connections for both of devices are not kinked anywhere.

There is a diversity board under the shark fin that tends to have issues - more so on the C than the D platform from what I've seen.
Ross-Tech can also provide guidance.
As Louis said it could be just a cable.
