I purchased a 15k mile 2005 with black exterior and amerato interior with alkantara trim inside.
Wow it looks awsom. I think without prejudece, this car has the best interior. It makes me smile everytime I drive it. It queit when you want it and can give a nice german grunt when you push it. Handling is exceptional. I think this car is one of best hidden jems out there.
And I call for people to stop complaining about a little of this and a little of that. Go sit in a lexus ls 430 and you will appreciate every little detail in this car.. Happy owner..

Most of the complaints are not grounded in "details" but rather in disappointing service or car experiences. The Audi and Lexus are two different automobiles which satisfy different tastes. I, as well, believe that Audi is a hidden gem. It will take a bit of tweaking AoA and the dealerships to let that gem shine.

Odd that I have an A8 NWB sitting on a B&O speaker..then a couple of years later, I order that combo.

Although I admit to a roving eye wrt the new S8, I like having the LWB model and the extra space and comfort it affords adult passengers.
