any one know if Mahle is a premium brand for fuel filters ?

I would take any of Mahle, Mann or Hengst for Audi filters in general, and if fuel related, also Bosch. The last Q5 HVAC filter I installed that was from dealer literally had multiple OES names laser ink printed on it, plus a Japanese one. Odd, but shows me how many of these are commoditized simply to a spec. Also, sometimes when I go to Pep Boys and they happen to have a Purolator filter on shelf (not for W12, but my old A6 4.2), when I open the box and look inside it is really an OES type supplier with their sticker on it.
