Deductible is $250, can I get one cheaper than that? Anything special about this windshield? Right now Safelite scheduled to replace. Just go with it?

Had mine replaced on 04 as well recently. Insurance company paid for everything; no deductible on glass. Safelite did the replacement. They did a great job. They even removed and replaced the EZPass and registration stickers for me.

Make certain you check the auto-mode for your wipers after the install. I had an issue with mine (done by the dealer in '06).

Yeah, because when they replace the windshield they take off taht rectangle sized piece in the center of your windshield which has the rain sensors in there. And im guessing they re-apply it to the new windshield?

Re-applying is the easy part. Somehow the sensors can work but not well. Make sure the function works properly WHEN IT RAINS.
