No, honest, I have never seen one as bad as the JD one. The problem with any is that the curve from the bodywork above the lights matches with the curve on the trunk. It is all one clean curve, as soon as you stick something on the trunk that is deeper in the middle, you have to re-radius the curve down to the edges of the trunk lid which then clash with two short lengths over the lights, it is a design faux-pas.

...on a black car. Unfortunately, the edges stand out too much on lighter colored vehicles (like the silver one pictured).

I think the stock back end of the D3 looks elegantly simple. I do like the treatment of the S8..... on an S8.

Stick on mods remind me of a Honda Civic with a tri-plane wing and a 6 inch fart can being fed by a 1 inch pipe.

Just my opinion.
