Default Not the regular trunk question. Will not open when car is running
What button did I goof up? Now, I need to turn the car off to open the trunk. Driver door button and key fob work when the car in not running but if it is running, nothing works. Please help.

It's an mmi setting, I think. Not sure, don't have an A8 in front of me anymore.

I don't recall ever seeing that in MMI unless it is in the hidden menu section.

If I recall correctly it's in the Car/Systems/Door Lock section? But I'm just going from memory!

I think there is one for when car is operating, keep trunk locked. In the owners manual IIRC. Helps avoid the big city grab and run type scenario.

Darn! Not in the menus. I did just update to the latest MMI version. Maybe hidden menus?
The only option is to use the trunk as a lock button? Central lock? Not sure how that would work. I turned it off and still had the same issue.

I know my D4 has a valet button but I don't remember anything like that in the D3.
