Drained battery = no backup cam

Drained battery = no backup cam
The other day I powered the car up by hitting the start button (key in pocket) to check some things and forgot to power down. Six or so hours later it was time to go to work and the car wouldn't start. I jumped started as per the manual which worked fine and noticed a dash light indicating the parking brake wasn't working, this went away however. The only thing I had to adjust was the time, date remained accurate. My parking sensors beep but the backup camera no longer displays an imagine, the screen doesn't even change to camera mode. I used VCDS to look at the backup cam parameters but I'm not sure what to look for or change, if necessary. It's two days later and battery is still showing 100%.
Do I need to reset something or what?

I would just make 100% sure the battery is fully charged.. maybe drive around a lot or trickle charge it. The cars power management will disable certain functions to preserve power for cranking. Hopefully the battery is still able to hold a full charge. I would not trust what the cars battery meter says as to full charge. That would be a good /cheap starting point. Let us know if this resolves the issue.

False alarm, I failed to to enter the backup camera settings in MMI. I guess the low battery state turned the camera off. I set it back to automatic and all is good again.
