Park Brake motor test

So I was getting the park brake error
pads are low to so I took everything apart
piston takes way to much force to push back so I'm rebuilding my calipers
the "square seal" is swollen and chewed up I have no idea how it wasn't leaking

back to the original question the connector has 4 terminals I apply 12 volts the the ends ones (larger then the center 2) motors work fine

is there any other ways to test if the motors are good?

There should be a test routine built into the VCDS tool.

The rear brake calipers on this car are supposed to have the pistons retracted via a computer and VCDS. Trying to do it manually usually means destroying the calipers. If you did that, you probably broke them and the seal damage you see may well have been from you forcing them.

the piston does not retract a thing inside the piston retracts you still need the push the piston back

I did use VCDS to put the motor in the open position
I heard the motors working and saw the voltages fluctuating waited 30 seconds then tried to push the caliper back with a flat screwdriver nope pulled off the caliper pulled off the motor and pushed back the piston with caliper tool and checking to see of the "thing" that pushes the piston was out of the way and retracted all the way
