I checked for faulty sensors with the mobile phone (indeed when you record with the camera it can pick up the noise if the sensor is working) and changed one faulty sensor.
After changing the sensor, the parking aid seems to be working until I turn on the ignition. After that is stops working again. I assume that there is one more parking sensors that might be faulty. Any advice or tips on how to check?
With the mobile phone mic, all sensors seem to be working.

When I had a parking sensor issue, it frustrated me that I could not find any videos anywhere on how to fix, or even test, the sensors. As such, I went ahead and put one together as I fixed my issue. Hopefully, there is something in here that will help you too.

Does anyone in the forum know what a good source in China is to buy parktronic sensors for the back bumper of my 2006 Audi A8L ? I need to replace two of them.
My car is Silver and hoping to buy them already pre-painted as getting a auto body shop to paint them told me that the paint will cost as much as the sensors. So I am looking for a China supplier that already sells them in the factory pre-painted colours. Anyone?

No idea, but you could just paint your own. Even a rattle can job would look fine on a surface that small. Else you can try to find used examples, you might get lucky with a local parts yard.

OK, new "pre-painted" parking sensors do not exist. Your choices are:
A used "silver" parking sensor like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-05-06-...frcectupt=true
However there are several AUDI "silvers" for your vintage car, so you should be very careful that you get the correct silver.
or...
Buy a new sensor and paint it using a correct touch up aerosol using your paint code like:
https://smile.amazon.com/Harpy-Motor...silver+aerosol
New sensors are cheap as chips on eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Backup-Park...item41c5a262d2

Hi Scott, That Ebay one would be okay but it is a front bumper sensor. I need Two for the rear Bumper. Does anyone know if the front and rear sensors the exact same? Also that gets me one of the two needed. Thanks for posting that link however. I may scoop it. Kev
