In my 04 A8L there is a phone cradle - not sure of the type. I won't ever use a phone in it. I called the dealer and they said that I would need to bring it in in order to remove it. I have read at least one post somewhere that said it can simply be pulled out, but there are wires to contend with. So, can it be removed and a blank or something be put in its place? Is there a thread to detail this that I missed? I really would like a console that is more usable. Thanks.
