I am having issues syncing my phonebook to my car, after I upgraded to a new galaxy s4 the phonebook no longer syncs.

I can call and answer using the builtin bluetooth, just the phonebook does not sync.

tried deleting an re-pairing the phone, the phone then asks if it should share the phonebook, to which I answer yes, but still it does not sync.

tried upgrading everything to mmi 5570 to see if that improved anything, but it didn't


any ideas?

I have a note2 which was difficult to pair etc. at first. Ended up I had to delete the call logs in the phone itself first. The mmi also keeps a log of calls so perhaps it was an overload issue.

That was simple, tried deleting the call log of my phone, it deleted about 600 entries, re-paired the phone, and it worked like a charm, thanks wasserwerks.

should have asked here first, but atleast my efforts caused to to do the mmi upgrade.

Also noticed that it synced all my contacts including facebook and linkedin, which some might consider a feature, to disable that feature you need to disable sync of those contacts on the phone completely, not just ommit them from your contacts list.
