Got the car. In a word- "Awesome!" Some details ....
Picked it up tonight. Didn't take pictures due to thunderstorms in Chicago. Phantom Black really looks nice on the A8. Great ride, even smoother acceleration/faster and better handling than my 2005 A8L. Factory iPod hookup is an inexpensive option that I would recommend to anyone. Playlists show up on main screen and over the steering wheel. Sound is so much better than the radio.The alcantara headliner and extended leather looks beautiful and the car seems quieter with the security glass. The car was debadged and I had the windows lightly tinted, the front grill, license plate mount and the inserts around the fog lights painted phantom black. The appearance is really striking vs the flat finish on the standard car. I'm currently driving on the 19" sport wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22s. I'll be switching to 20" OZ Leonardos with Pirelli PZero all seasons in a few weeks when the wheels arrive. I'll post pictures when I get back from vacation, the car is clean and the weather is clear.
