Pics from my visit to the Audi A8 test drive event with AudiAfficienado today. (bww)
He got the formal invite, I was his invited guest.
Our chariot:

<img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v125/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12008-vi.jpg">
This was a Eurospec car, with Eurospec items not available here, to wit,
a desk for the chauffeur-driven back seat passenger;
<img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v126/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12004-vi.jpg">
and a built-in fax machine.
<img src="http://images8.fotki.com/v128/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12003-vi.jpg">
Hmmm, what's that **** below the ski sack door?
<img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v125/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12007-vi.jpg">
Well, looky there. Needs some Moet.
<img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v126/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12006-vi.jpg">
In the trailer, we find
MMI trainers:
<img src="http://images7.fotki.com/v125/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12010-vi.jpg">
and a bare space frame.
<img src="http://images8.fotki.com/v128/photos/7/77755/1531306/A8W12015-vi.jpg">
likes:
Serious low-end grunt.
Paddle shifters.
Meagan, our chaperone. (Hi Megan!, in case you manage to find this)
Good eats from Rivermont CC.
dislikes:
Semi-parabolic driver's side mirror.
Wood steering wheel. Looked great, feel didn't cut it. I guess that's the chauffeur's problem.
Thanks again, AA, for inviting me along.

Great PICS Jim...Back at the office...1 hour later
GA400 backed up at I-285 3-lanes closed. GEE. DAMN...After doing 100K ( it was a Euro version )in the W12 and then down to zero. The Chattahoochee Park ( my part of the experience ) with Meagan slipping and falling into my lap ( Just Kidding - Dreamin - Great Houston Gal ). She was at the Miami show by the way..Atlas.
The look on the "exec's" face as I drove slowly into the parking lot, past the food and floored it with an attempted donut. Meagan had fun on that part, she dared me! Thanks for the goodie bag Meagan!
The W12 definitely pulled like 450+ horses. Redline at 6200 vs our 4.2's at 6800. Love the paddle shift too.
A truely beatutiful day in Atlanta. Met some great AoA regional sales types too.

I figured there was no point in taking/posting the sort of standard pics we've all seen.
Let's face it, everyone knows what the big grille looks like, from all angles. Nothing new there.
I wish I'd taken a few shots of the paddles.
