it was a great ride.
But traded for a BMW 750 LI Xdrive with twin turbos. Will see if I like a BMW as much as the A8L.
It was a great ride and this was a great board with very knowledge participants. Enjoy the time and the ride on this site. |

Keep us posted from time to time on how you like the 750 - it was my alternate when looking at the D3. |

Sorry to hear you didn't find a D4, but completely understandable.
Keep us posted from time to time on how you like the 750 - it was my alternate when looking at the D3. The BMW has everything the Audi had feature wise perhaps an item or two more. I'm not a big fan of Run Flat tires which I have on the BMW. To be a CPO they had to put new ones on the car. But will have a 2nd set of Winter Tires or All Season tires and pull the run flats off for the winter as they are only summer tires. But I also saw that was a issue with all the CPO A8L that I looked at had new summer tires on rims that made it hard to find good All-season tires. The car has twin turbo's and that takes some getting use to the power it has vs what my 2008 A8L had. I also gain in trunk space vs the D4 which had so little that it bother me enough to go out and look at the BMW 750LI Xdrive. The seating area is very nice with the leg room in the back area having as much as the A8L. Overall I think that I will enjoy the ride as much as I did the A8L or the 2004 VW Phaeton and the 2006 VW Phaeton. Its been very enjoyable spending time on this board and I will miss the great knowledge everybody has on the Audi product. |
