Quartz gray pics anyone?
Thinking about ordering an A8 SWB in this color (with black interior) especially since my other choices (Northern blue, Oyster gray) are both sold-order extra cost. I've done a search and have only been able to come up with a couple of shots of Howard's car (really sharp!). I would be very interested in seeing more images if anyone would care to post them. Thanks in advance!

Just use the search function. If you search on Quartz in all sections and ...
limit search to posts with images and to the A8 D3 platform you will get 4 or 5 hits that show yoiu what you want

Thanks, tried it, only 2 hits (more).
However, when I opened the search to all forums, I saw a lot of nice Quartz A4's! I'm thinking that this color will really complement the lines of the A8, and should hide dirt nicely.

Were you able to work a deal with Leith? They are trying to play hardball with me. How was the overall buying experience? Had a chance to use their service department yet?
I work in Cary, just down the road from Leith. If you bring your car to the dealership for service, maybe you could shoot me an e-mail. I would love to see it in person; you have the exact color combination I am looking at.

Actually I have my first service appointment tomorrow morning. It's the 5000 mile oil change and tire rotation. I also purchased a 3rd key fob and they will program all 3 fobs tomorrow too. My appt is at 10:00. Feel free to contact me or come by and I would be more than happy to let you see/drive my A8 so you can get a good feel for the car. It would be easier for you to do that than for me to figure out how to upload pictures to this post.
I had a very positive experience with the dealership during the whole purchasing process. I can give you details on price paid, discount, trade in of my 1992 cadillac allante etc if we connect tomorrow. I did go to the Audi dealer in Greensboro and Charlotte during my "due dilligence" phase of deciding on what car and where to buy. I also contacted some out of state Audi dealers thru their internet managers and also contacted an automobile broker for his best deal. In the end I got the best deal thru Leith.
