Default Question - Tires for 2008 A8L
About time to replace the tires on my vehicle; 2008 A8L .. Considering Michelin Pilot Sport (255/45ZR18) .. Also considering Bridgestone Potenza ... I have used both tires on another vehicle (Nissan Maxima) with success ... Any feedback on these tires with an A8L? Any suggestions for other tires to consider?

Default I just took Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires off my S8. They become very noisy as they wear.
If it is the A/S version you are considering, be careful.
I estimate I have 30k on them (2 winter seasons) and they have plenty of tread remaining but essentially unusable due to noise.
No experience with the other tires you mention

Installed Continental Sport Contact 2 recently. Excellent, but can hum a bit on certain surfaces

on my 20" wheels.
