For the record....I get that darn message a bunch, most of the time the cruise continues to work, but other times it turns the system off. I actually wished that my car didn't have ACC.

When we first picked up my wifes car I saw that message a lot. Took it to the dealer and had them align it. Have not seen any errors since.

I've only ever seen the message appear once, driving in a horrible rainstorm. Turned the system off, then back on again and it worked fine again.

I had it all the time, I bucked up and paid the dealer to realign it and do a wheel alignment as well as supposedly it works in conjunction with the wheel alignment. 30,000km with Rain and snow and not one single error since.
