Default retrofit

Hi!
I'm new here. I'm looking for any tips on retrofitting extras to my 2005 3.0 a8.

*for example: what code needs the bluetooth module have to replace my Motorola telephone module. no need for the car phone when Motorola modul has no BT...I just want to have the hands free function.

* is there any info out there about retrofitting softclose doors ? self tinting mirrors ? where can I get a boot lid motor for a reasonable prize in Europe?

all info about adding different extras is helpful.I have a frend who is doing the VCDS part.
all info and links are welcome!
thanks!!!

Hi; 'Slim Saat', I can explain about phone replacement but not the other bits. [Suggest you join A8 Parts Forum in the UK]

The Motorola Phone is driven by the phone ECU under the front passenger carpet. It uses the roof mounted shark fin aerial and connects to the car's electrical and optical bus and has a SIM reader in the armrest; it supports a Bluetooth connection only to the Motorola optional 'add on' phone in the armrest. Its HW part number is 4E0 862 333x.

There are two later Bluetooth units; both are potential replacements but of the two, the second one is 'better'. Both of them replace the 'under the carpet' ECU but need 'connector adjustments' as they both have different connections to the electrical bus.
1) Part 4E0 862 335x lets the phone connect to the car's mic and speakers but uses the cell phone and its aerial for the call. In effect the phone hands its speaker and mic on to the car.
2) Part 4F1 862 335x 'takes over' the phone call and uses the car's phone aerial for connection. In effect, the car takes over the phone call. This option is good for Motorola phone users since the car already has the aerial it needs.

The x is not necessary. The small x in my text indicates that the part may have a suffix letter. Suffix letters indicate minor revisions to the hardware.

So 4F1 862 335 is the original hardware part number; 4F1 862 335 A is the first revision and 4F1 862 335 D would be the fourth.

Note that the software/firmware installed in the part is a similar number with 910 in the middle. So the original software in that phone ECU was 4F1 910 335 and the same suffix letter system is used for revisions.
The hardware number never changes; the software number will change as the software is revised via the MMI update CDs.

the bluetoth module is a work in progress...
is this the right order of pins?I saw some different layouts here in forum...
OLDNEWDesc.3314

MIC +
4112
MIC -
1510

now I'm open to any other extras that can be enabled or retrofitted.
any links or info is welcome. maybe I just can't find stuff cos I'm new here. I'm still looking around allso.
for example:
if I have no boot lid motor right now and wantto fit one in, do I need to look the part numbers allso ?
same goes to softclose door motors.
