I am a little bothered by your tone, I believe we spoke before on the phone {I could be wrong} and your attitude here is somewhat out of character, YOU want help and yet your acting like an ***, YES I did give you an option on how to get A/V input into your brother's RNS-E, I said plain and simple "go get a OEM TV tuner for that specific vehicle and use the RCA A/V inputs for what ever you want to input", do you want me to spell out the whole job for you, of just give you an option like I already did, a quick Google search will render great answers like these below.

OEM TV Tuner for B7 is ANALOGUE TV RECEIVER 4D0 919 146 D

Then a search on Ebay will yield you these items, then find the pin outs and make your own cables or buy one from Kufatec as I stated in my previous post.

Also everything Louis stated is valuable information, it's part of what makes things work, and it also opens up people's minds to how things work which in turn an other person will come up with some ideas, if it was so simple, YOU would not be here asking for options, or maybe YOU would.

thank you for the help.

you had helped me with my MMI a/v install, which i carried out successfully due to your DIY threads.

and i did not know if i needed a tv tuner or not because i had said "i dont think it has one" and no one helped me out, maybe i missed something or wasnt pushing the right button. i know everything now thanks to you guys about the MMI system but did not know if the RNS-E was any different or the same.

a little guidence of the system would of been helpful.

if you or louis replied with "you need a tv tuner for the av install" then i would of gone onto kufatec get a wiring harness or ebay it, same with the tuner and any other items i would of needed i would of googled but i had no where to start, hence not being able to google anything.

i googled RNS-E A/V instal and could not find one single thing, everyone talked about iphone/ipod etc which was of no use because i already have a iphone dock installed.
