Due to rain this past Saturday, the Angeles Crest Drive has been rescheduled for this weekend -- Saturday, March 18th (instead of the original March 11th date).

We'd like to invite all to come with us on a drive that will take us from the base of the mountains in La Canada Flintridge to Devil's Punchbowl - over 60 miles of driving exhilaration. In addition to the drive, if you're feeling lucky, we'll be running another optional poker run with a $10.00 buy-in and a chance to take home the cash pot.

Grilled burgers and hot dogs, along with chips and cookies will be available for $5.00, however we ask that all attendees bring their own drinks (there is a vending machine at the Devils Punchbowl park, in case you forget). It's going to be a great drive, and we invite you to attend, even if its your first SCC Audi drive!

Back again, are our monthly Audi GTG's @ The Stand will resume just in time for spring (3rd Tuesday every month). From Orange County to Ventura, come out and meet other Audi enthusiasts, check out each other's rides, and show off your own, or just hang out and catch up with friends at what has become the LA area's largest weeknight Audi gathering.

In addition to sharing good company, take advantage of the usual discounts on gourmet dogs and cold drinks (yes, that includes beer!) Be sure to mention you're with the Audi club when ordering, and end the workday in relaxing Audi style. TWO WEEKS!!! Time is running out to register for the ACNA drivers' school and safety seminar to be held at Buttonwillow Raceway on March 27th and 28th. In addition to the standard drivers' seminar, we'll be offering (with help from Nationals and the Glacier Lakes Chapter) an ACNA instructor clinic for advanced students interested in learning instructor skills and teaching techniques.

This event is open to all drivers, from the novice to the expert, young and old alike. Learn about vehicle dynamics during threshold braking, emergency maneuver, and slalom exercises, and put your skills to work running laps on track in your own car with ACNA instructors. It's the most fun you can have on four wheels, and we encourage all to attend.

This is going to be a great event at a great, challenging and safe track, and we're looking forward to seeing you all there!
