Service message on startup

Service message on startup
I just had the 35000 mile service done on my 2004 D3 serial 8170. They forgot to reset the reminder and now every time I start the car it gives a big SERVICE! message. Can I get rid of that and reset it myself? I can't find it in the owners manual. My 1999 Mercedes had a prcedure where I could reset it myself. Thanks!

Don't need guided fault finding to reset.
Go to 17 instrument cluster.
10 for adaptation, adaptation channel 2, change the 1 to a 0 to reset.
That is all, same for all newer cars.
