So how long can you continue to drive on bad suspension bushings?

Mostly contributes to the demise of other components
Other control arms, etc..
I noticed mine were going a few thousand miles ago, and haven't bit the bullet yet for new ones. Since I anticipate replacing all, I'm not as concerned with collateral damage.
The fact I can feel that the suspension isn't right is driving me crazy more than worrying that something might fail. I want my cars to feel solid as a rock, and bad bushings/ball joints contribute to a sloppy feel and poor ride.

yeah, I am the same way. It bugs me that I can feel the suspension crashing
but my lease is up at the end of May and I am not sure I want to pay for new bushings at this time.
I asked the dealer to check the suspension and they, of course, found nothing wrong with it, so I guess it shouldn't be a problem....

Applies to all A8's through 2008. Basically says if the upper arm inner bushings--front and rear of both sides in front--are torn or worn, they should be replaced.
