So how long can you continue to drive on bad suspension bushings?

You are so far in the wrong forum it isn't even funny. Probably the worst place you could possibly ask, the suspension of a CRV is almost entirely unrecognizable compared to an A8's. That said, it's a cheap part without a lot of labor needed, just do it because in some cases, a bad suspension component can lead to an accident.

yeah wrong forum, but you’re probably looking at bad ball joints. It’s easy to confirm with the wheel in the air. Look for play at the bottom of the spindle. Might be easier to replace the whole lower control arm, but the ball joint itself may be serviceable. Look it up on YouTube. There’s probably a video about it. But don’t wait too long or it will fail and take more parts with it.
