4.2 BFM analogs
Hello, i have problem,
I have to change the engine in my a8 d3 (2004), but i cant find used engine with BFM code in my region.
I found information about same engines like 4.2 BFM:
in d3 4.2 BGK (2006 year)
VW Phaeton BGH, BGJ.
Are BGK/BGH/BGJ engines really have same construction like BFM and will fit to d3 2004 without ECU changing and coding?

Only difference is bgk dont have a fuel pressure regulator. You could put your fuel rail on the bgk and have exactly the same engine IMHO and wouldnt have any trouble with the computer.
