I have a 2005 audi a8l 4.2L quattro with the solar panel sunroof and I'm curious to know if it powers the heated seating? And does the panel work at night?

No and no.

It powers a fan to keep the interior cooler in the sun.

I now know who all the unnecessary warning labels are for.

Well, if the build sticker shows option code LMAO it would have the special turbo solar option that runs the induction grill too. Pretty easy to spot.

Only found on non-W12's, which just use the hood surface together with a teflon clear bra coating for tailgates. Had to go Audi Exclusive for the full on low light trailerable one.
